The clinic is conveniently located down the road from the Colosseum, perfect for all the new entrants as they escape certain death the grips of whatever monsters are there this time. You can find it near the shops in that area and not too far from Spire 4.

The clinic is a coopted housing structure, not dissimilar from the four-bedrooms available in the other parts of the city. The difference here is that the outside of the building has been turned into a mural, covered with paintings of trees, underbrush, various foliage in shades of green. On the wall, someone has painted in red lettering; HEALERS. CARE AVAILABLE INSIDE. MEDICUS. ਡਾਕਟਰ. MÉDICO. The list stretches longer day by day as new occupants add new languages. Inside, the foyer has been turned into a waiting room, filled with borrowed and tatty chairs. Press deeper, and there are private rooms where a patient can talk one on one with whoever's on shift. The kitchen and dining room have more beds, serve as a kind of cobbled together ward that fills up quickly when the city is having an emergency. The upstairs bedrooms are reserved for patients who need longer term care, or clinic staff catching a little rest as needed.

So! Simon's got this excellent idea in his head of bi-weekly-ish classes on a variety of first aid, triage, and general medical topics. Different class each time, taught by whoever's available. If there aren't volunteers, he'll teach the lesson, but I figure this is a good way for all of us to pick and choose as we desire and also hand-wave whatever.

His current list of suggestions:

Courses:
-Basic first aid: cuts and scrapes, hygiene
-Broken bones: diagnosis and stabilization
-CPR
-Burns
-Illness I: common cold, respiratory infections, flu
-Illness II: food poisoning, botulism, etc
-Shock
-Stab wounds, penetrating injuries
-Infection and how to prevent it
-Hypothermia/heatstroke/exposure

-Magical injuries and healing?
