So! Simon's got this excellent idea in his head of bi-weekly-ish classes on a variety of first aid, triage, and general medical topics. Different class each time, taught by whoever's available. If there aren't volunteers, he'll teach the lesson, but I figure this is a good way for all of us to pick and choose as we desire and also hand-wave whatever.
His current list of suggestions:
Courses: -Basic first aid: cuts and scrapes, hygiene -Broken bones: diagnosis and stabilization -CPR -Burns -Illness I: common cold, respiratory infections, flu -Illness II: food poisoning, botulism, etc -Shock -Stab wounds, penetrating injuries -Infection and how to prevent it -Hypothermia/heatstroke/exposure
